đ Birthdays, weddings, Olympic and Paralympic Games countdowns. đ
You need a special kind of calendar to work in the Olympic and Paralympic world.
And with one year to go until the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, I'm proud to have worked as a copywriter and communicator across the worldâs biggest sporting events.Â
đ  London 2012 - fan. Greg Rutherford, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Mo Farah â my first in-person experience of the Olympic Games.
đ´âˇď¸Â Rio 2016 and PyeongChang 2018 â my first two Paralympic Games as a communications professional.
đ¸ 2016 - interviewing athletes from across the world as a volunteer writer for the International Paralympic Committee.
đď¸ 2018 â working full-time on Allianzâs Olympic & Paralympic partnership to set up the communications strategy and plan.
âď¸Â 2020 â writing and rewriting the reputational playbook for the postponed Tokyo 2020 and politicised Beijing 2022.
đ 2023 - going from 'nobody's talking to everybody's talking' - how to be heard at Paris 2024 and Milano Cortina 2026.
Itâs amazing where the Olympic and Paralympic Movements can take you. I canât wait to see where it leads next.
